ISOBUS (ISO 11783) standardizes communication between tractors and implements from different manufacturers. It enables interoperability, unified display and control through a single in-cab terminal, eliminating the need for multiple proprietary monitors and simplifying operator workflow.
The VT (Virtual Terminal) or UT (Universal Terminal) displays and controls the implement interface inside the cab. It automatically detects connected ISOBUS-compatible implements and provides a standardized user interface for monitoring and controlling implement functions.
The Task Controller (TC) enables automated documentation and variable rate application by managing task data exchange between the farm management system and the implement. It records as-applied maps, tracks job progress, and supports prescription-based variable rate control.
